Why Take This Course?

Full Stack Developers are incredibly valuable to any company that needs a web presence - and that's nearly every company out there today. This MicroDegree will enable you to kick-start a career as a full stack developer, with the ability to build complex websites and services from the ground up.

What does “full-stack development” imply? A full stack developer is familiar with the “entire stack” and has a mastery in most, but an interest in all, software technology. The stack is comprised of everything you would encounter in a typical application environment, ranging from server environments, data modelling and the logic of the application, to the user interface and experience.

You'll dive deep into web programming technologies such as Python and Django, learning how to build dynamic websites that are powered by databases and far more complex than your typical Wordpress site. You'll also learn how to leverage Javascript, HTML, CSS, and PHP to build user-facing pages that scale to millions.

1-on-1 mentor support for the duration of your course support, including live chat and code marking within 6 hours of assignment submission

Access to all course content , including hundreds of programming exercises and explanatory documents

Verified certificate on course completion, including post-course career support
A MicroDegree is a innovative new concept which goes beyond simply taking an online course. This certification is designed to get you the skills that employers believe are integral to get a job in software development. It focuses on learning by doing, and is typically comprised of 8 to 15 practical programming projects with hundreds of additional programming exercises and course content to support the skills needed to complete these projects.

All our MicroDegrees connect you with a 1:1 mentor, to which your practical programming projects are submitted for feedback. Your mentor works with you in real time to improve your code, solve programming exercises, and craft your learning path to match your intended career. Mentor support is available 24/7 online with face-to-face support offered in selected areas.
