HyperionDev is southern Africa’s largest tech education provider. It was founded in 2012 as a small grassroots movement of Computer Science students working towards a single goal: to build and deliver better technical education for anyone who wanted to learn digital literacy and programming skills.
Today, that small team has expanded to include two physical campuses, a range of respected university partners, and a comprehensive online education platform. HyperionDev offers an industry-aligned alternative to traditional learning models. With our human-led approach and accessible learning structure, anyone can learn to code.
HyperionDev has brought coding skills to thousands of students in more than 40 countries in partnership with renowned institutions, including The University of Edinburgh and UNISA Enterprise. We intend to continue expanding and diversifying the tech talent pools for jobs in South Africa and globally through our commitment to quality job placements and student support.
