As the far-ranging impacts of COVID-19 continue to severely impact our staff, mentors, students, and the rest of the country and world, we wanted to assure you that we are monitoring the situation very closely, to make the best decisions for everyone’s health, safety, and wellbeing.
Because of the uncertain and quickly developing situation, we’ve decided to implement the following policies to safeguard our students and employees.
Our online bootcamps remain totally unaffected
-
Online coding bootcamps will continue as they currently are, as our online programs are not affected by restrictions to travel, social distancing, or other such emergency control measures.
All student support will still be available online
-
On-site lectures will be conducted via online conferencing software.
-
On-demand support will be available through dedicated communication tools and channels where lecturers, mentors and teaching assistants will be available to assist students with their difficulties and questions throughout the day.
On-site bootcamps will be taught remotely
-
As of Monday 23 March 2020, students will not be coming into our physical campuses. This is a preventative measure to help reduce the risk of infection and to keep everyone safe, and is in line with the 26 March 2020 National Lockdown.
-
Students will still be receiving daily lectures according to the current lecture schedule, as well as on-demand support from our teaching staff.
Our graduation events have been postponed
-
We have postponed all public events until further notice. We hope we’ll be able to reach out again soon with a new date for our next Johannesburg and Cape Town graduation dates.
